Alathur, Sept. 19, 2025:
The Department of Mathematics, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with IQAC, organized an orientation programme for UG and PG students on the topic “An Introduction to Calculus” at Gurukripa Hall on September 19, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
The session was led by Dr. Prasad T, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University of Calicut, who delivered an insightful lecture on the fundamentals of calculus and its applications in advanced mathematical studies. The talk aimed at strengthening students’ conceptual clarity and providing them with a solid foundation for higher-level learning.
The event was inaugurated under the guidance of Principal Smt. Praveena Vijayan and coordinated by Smt. Vaishnavi S, with Dr. Dhiva S (IQAC Coordinator) and Sri. Devadas V (Head of the Department) extending their support.
The orientation helped students gain a deeper understanding of the subject, encouraging them to approach mathematics with greater confidence and curiosity.
