The Department of Microbiology of Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with IQAC, SNGEC, Tutorial Committee, UG Monitoring Committee, and Career Guidance Cell, organized a Higher Education Orientation Programme for Higher Secondary students on 12th November 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at ASMMHSS, Alathur.

The session was handled by Ms. Divya R, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, Sree Narayana College, Alathur. The programme aimed to guide higher secondary students in choosing suitable higher education paths and to create awareness about emerging academic and career opportunities in the field of science, particularly in Microbiology and related disciplines.

Ms. Divya R provided valuable insights into the structure and scope of undergraduate programmes, the relevance of interdisciplinary learning, and the growing importance of scientific research in modern education. She also emphasized the role of higher education in personal development and national progress, aligning with the ideals of Sree Narayana Guru on education and enlightenment.
