The Department of Mathematics, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is set to organize two significant Orientation Programmes aimed at enhancing computational skills among students.
The sessions will be led by Dr. Vishnu Namboothiri K, Professor of Mathematics, Baby John Memorial Government College, Chavara, Sankaramangalam, Kollam, Kerala. As the resource person, Dr. Vishnu Namboothiri will introduce students to modern mathematical software tools essential for higher studies and research.

These programmes aim to familiarize students with computational platforms that support mathematical modelling, problem-solving, coding, and data analysis. The sessions are coordinated by Smt. Krishnaprabha R (Programme Coordinator), with support from Devadas V (HoD) and Dr. S. Dhiva (IQAC Coordinator) under the leadership of Smt. Praveena Vijayan, Principal.
The Department anticipates enthusiastic participation from students, as these training sessions will greatly benefit their academic growth and future career prospects.
