The PG Department of Commerce, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with IQAC and Geojit Financial Services Ltd., Vadakkencherry, is organizing an Awareness Programme on “Introduction to Mutual Funds” on Thursday, 18 December 2025, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Room No. 20.
The programme will be led by Mr. Vishnu P, Branch Manager, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Palakkad, who will serve as the resource person. The session aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge about mutual fund investments, financial planning, and the importance of informed investment decisions.
Mrs. Reji Krishna, Programme Coordinator, will oversee the event. Mrs. Archana K M, Head of the PG Department of Commerce, will guide the programme activities. The programme is organized under the leadership of Dr. S. Dhiva, IQAC Coordinator, with the support of the Organising Committee of the PG Department of Commerce.
The programme will be held under the patronage of Smt. Praveena Vijayan, Principal, Sree Narayana College, Alathur.
The programme is expected to be highly beneficial for commerce students by enhancing their practical understanding of financial markets and investment avenues.
