The Department of Botany, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), will organize its Association Day and Merit Day on 3 February 2026 at 10:30 AM in the College Auditorium.
As part of the programme, a seminar on the topic “Mushroom Cultivation: A Promising Entrepreneurship” will be conducted, highlighting the scope of mushroom farming as a sustainable and income-generating venture. The session aims to create awareness among students about entrepreneurial opportunities in the agricultural and allied sectors.
Ms. Akshaya S, Mushroom Trainer, and Mr. Likesh G, Beat Forest Officer from the Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department, will serve as the resource persons and share their expertise and practical insights with the participants.
The programme will be held under the guidance of Dr. Praveena Vijayan, Principal, and Dr. S. Dhiva, IQAC Coordinator. The event is being organized by the faculty members of the Department of Botany. Students and faculty members are cordially invited to attend the programme.
