Alathur: The PG Department of English, Sree Narayana College Alathur, in association with IQAC, organised an extension activity on Microteaching on 6 February 2026 at Sariga Public School, Thenilapuram. The programme was conducted by the third-year Functional English students as part of their academic outreach initiative.
The session aimed to provide practical teaching exposure to students while supporting school learners through interactive classroom activities. The college students demonstrated innovative teaching methods, engaging the school children through structured micro-lessons.
Dr. Praveena Vijayan, Principal, encouraged the participants and appreciated the initiative. The programme was coordinated by Remya Rajan E. (HoD), Dr. S. Dhiva (IQAC Coordinator) and staff coordinators Dr. Sreedhanya R. and Anil K. R.
The extension activity offered valuable hands-on experience to the student teachers and strengthened the institution’s commitment to community engagement and experiential learning.
