Voter Awareness Campaign Conducted at Alathur

Alathur: The IQAC of Sree Narayana College Alathur, in association with 060-Alathur LAC and SVEEP Palakkad, organized a General Election Campaign 2026 to promote voter awareness and responsible participation in the democratic process.

The campaign carried powerful messages such as “Voting is a fundamental right,” “Your vote determines the future,” and “Voting is a responsibility,” aiming to educate the public on the importance of electoral participation. Various engaging programmes including flash mob, skit, and selfie point were arranged as part of the initiative.

The event was held on March 30 at Taxi Stand, Alathur and Kuzhalmannam from 4 PM to 5 PM. Students and volunteers actively participated in the campaign, interacting with the public and spreading awareness about the value of each vote.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic public response and served as an effective platform to encourage citizens to exercise their voting rights and strengthen democracy.
