Sree Narayana College Alathur to Organise Expert Session on Healthy Monsoon Living Through Ayurveda

The Indian Knowledge System, in association with the IQAC, is set to organise an informative session on “Healthy Monsoon for a Healthy Tomorrow” under the theme Indian Knowledge System on 5 August 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Gurukripa Hall.

The session will be led by Dr. Amritha P., Chief Physician, Ayur Amritham Ayurveda Chikitsalayam, who will share valuable insights into the relevance of Ayurveda in promoting health and wellness during the monsoon season. The programme aims to introduce participants to traditional Indian healthcare practices that support immunity, balanced nutrition, and disease prevention.

The session will focus on monsoon diet and lifestyle, Ayurvedic home remedies, immunity enhancement, and practical wellness tips that can be incorporated into daily life. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to understand how India’s ancient knowledge systems continue to offer effective solutions for contemporary health challenges.

The programme is being organised under the guidance of Principal Dr. Praveena Vijayan, with Dr. S. Dhiva serving as IQAC Coordinator and Prof. (Dr.) Binumol M. as Programme Coordinator. The organising committee includes Dr. Soumya C. S. (Senate Member), Dr. Poornima P. L., Dr. Sumesh R. V., Mrs. Shwetha P. V., and Aswani B. G. (Librarian).

The college cordially invites students, faculty members, and all interested participants to attend this enriching session and gain practical knowledge on maintaining health and well-being during the monsoon through the principles of Ayurveda.
