Alathur, October 7, 2026: Sree Narayana College, Alathur, expressed its deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of Shri M. Vishwanathan, President of the Alathur SNDP Union, and Prof. G. Hariprakash, a veteran academic who served as a long-time teacher at Chempazhanthy S.N. College and later retired as Principal of Alathur S.N. College.
Shri M. Vishwanathan was associated with the Alathur SNDP Union as its President and was remembered for his involvement in the organisation and its activities. His contributions to the community and his association with the SNDP movement were acknowledged with respect.
Prof. G. Hariprakash was a distinguished educator with a long career in higher education. He served as a teacher at Chempazhanthy S.N. College and subsequently served as the Principal of Alathur S.N. College before his retirement. His long-standing association with education and the Sree Narayana educational community has left a lasting impression on generations of students and colleagues.
