Sree Narayana College, Alathur, affiliated with the University of Calicut, is set to organize a seminar on “Basics in Research Methodology” on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
The programme is being conducted by the R & D Cell in association with the IQAC and the Microbiologists Society, India. The session will be held at Gurukripa Hall in a hybrid mode, enabling both offline and online participation.
The seminar will feature Chinnu Mariam Chacko, Head of the Department of Economics at St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, as the resource person. She is expected to deliver an insightful talk on the fundamentals of research methodology, covering essential aspects such as research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
The event is being organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Praveena Vijayan, with IQAC Coordinator Dr. S. Dhiva and Programme Coordinator Dr. N. S. Rajendran overseeing the arrangements.
This seminar aims to equip students and faculty members with foundational knowledge and practical skills in research, thereby promoting a strong research culture within the institution.
