INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2025: SPACE OF HER OWN

The PG Department of English at Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Literary Club and Gender Forum, organized the International Women’s Day celebration on March 14, 2025.

The event began with an inaugural session featuring addresses by the Head of the Department and the Principal, highlighting the importance of gender equality and women’s contributions to society. The session concluded with a vote of thanks.

The keynote address, “A Space of Her Own,” was delivered by Ms. Krishnakripa A K, an alumnus of the department and currently an English teacher in the Maldives. Her speech provided valuable insights into the challenges and triumphs of women across different fields.

The event witnessed active participation from faculty and students, fostering meaningful discussions on gender equality and the need for inclusive spaces in education and society.
