We are proud to share that our esteemed faculty member, Dr. Praseeja Cheruparambath, actively participated as a key speaker and coordinator at the high-profile launch of the Endangered Plant Conservation Garden held at the Ahalia Campus.
The initiative—jointly organized by Green Ahalia, the Kerala State Biodiversity Board, and the Elappully Panchayat—aims to protect critically endangered plant species under the Central Government’s Assistance to Botanical Gardens project.
During the event, Dr. Praseeja addressed the gathering alongside prominent environmental scientists and local administrators, highlighting the vital role educational institutions and educators play in ecological conservation.
Beyond delivering an inspiring address, Dr. Praseeja was instrumental in guiding and motivating our students from the Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Ahalia Public School, who enthusiastically joined hands to plant the rare saplings.
“Dr. Praseeja’s involvement in such a vital state-level ecological project brings great honor to our institution. Her dedication sets a stellar example for our students, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world environmental responsibility.”
