The Department of Economics, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, is organising a Career Guidance Programme on 18 September 2026 at 1.30 p.m.
The programme is being conducted with ICA Edu Skills Pvt. Ltd., Palakkad, as the Resource Partner. The initiative is aimed at familiarising students with career opportunities and skill-oriented programmes in the areas of accounts, banking, finance and taxation.
The programme will introduce students to a range of career opportunities, including Chief Accountant, Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, Tax Consultant, and Banking & Finance Executive. It will also provide information about relevant courses and certification programmes, including a Job-Guarantee Course in Accounts, Finance & Taxation, Diploma in Banking & Finance, Advanced Excel & Data Analytics, and GST & Taxation Certification.
The programme is supported by the IQAC, Skill Centre, and Career Guidance & Placement Cell of the college. The initiative is expected to help students gain greater awareness of career pathways and identify skill-development opportunities relevant to their academic and professional aspirations.
The programme carries the theme “Guiding Careers. Building Futures.” and reflects the institution’s focus on connecting academic learning with career-oriented skill development.
