ALATHUR — The Department of Microbiology at Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Microbiologist Society, India, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), will celebrate International Microorganism Day 2026 on Thursday, 17th September 2026.
Under the central theme “Celebrating the Invisible World That Shapes Our Lives,” the event aims to create scientific awareness among students about the fundamental roles microbes play in health, agriculture, industry, and environmental sustainability.
The academic session will feature leadership and coordination by key faculty members, including Principal Dr. Praveena Vijayan, HOD & IQAC Coordinator Dr. S. Dhiva, and Programme Coordinator Divya R. Students, research scholars, and faculty members across various science streams are invited to participate in the day-long event.
