



Mundur, June 5, 2026: The Department of Management of Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), will organize a special programme in observance of World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Sapienza Hall.
The highlight of the programme will be an expert session by Dr. Praseeja Cheruparambath, Assistant Professor and Research Guide, S.N. College, Alathur, and a member of the Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB) – TSG Palakkad. Recognized for her contributions to environmental education, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development initiatives, Dr. Praseeja has been invited as the Resource Person for the event.
The programme, themed “Let’s Nurture Nature for a Sustainable Future,” aims to create awareness among students about environmental protection, sustainable living, conservation of natural resources, and responsible citizenship. Through her session, Dr. Praseeja is expected to inspire participants to adopt eco-friendly practices and actively contribute to environmental sustainability.
The event is being organized under the leadership of the management and faculty members of YIMS, with support from the Institution’s Innovation Council. Students, faculty members, and environmental enthusiasts are expected to participate in the programme.
The organizers expressed confidence that Dr. Praseeja Cheruparambath’s expertise and commitment to environmental conservation will make the World Environment Day celebration a meaningful and impactful learning experience for all participants.
