Students getting to know the birds better

The famous bird watcher Dr. Following the celebrations of Salim Ali's 125th Birthday and National Bird Day, the students of the Department of Zoology, Sree Narayana College, Alathur engaged in bird watching from Irattakulam to the college premises and around the college premises. Head of the Department of Zoology, Dr. Aarthi Sasikumar led the survey, and identified about 45 species of birds, including locusts, bald beaks and parrots, as well as native and migratory birds. The students testified that they were able to identify the diversity of the birds around them by observing covid standards.
