Drama Fest at Sree Narayana College Alathur

Alathur, October 23, 2025:
The PG Department of English, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is organizing a Drama Fest featuring performances by the IIIrd Year BA Functional English students. The event will be held at Gurukripa Hall on October 23, 2025, at 1:30 PM.

The fest promises to offer an engaging theatrical experience, celebrating creativity, expression, and storytelling through live performances. Students will showcase their acting skills and stagecraft, bringing classic and contemporary themes to life.

The program is guided by Principal Praveena Vijayan, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Dhiva S, Department Head Remya Rajan E, and Staff Coordinator Maria Joseph. The event aims to enhance students’ confidence, communication, and appreciation of dramatic art as part of their academic and cultural development.

Drama Fest 2025 (23/10/2025)

The PG Department of English, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized Drama Fest 2025 on October 23, 2025, at Gurukripa Hall. The programme, which began at 1:30 PM, was presented by the students of III BA Functional English and aimed to celebrate the spirit of theatre and performance.
The fest featured a vibrant selection of plays, including The Merchant of Venice, Refund, A Doll’s House, and Chandalika, among others. Each performance reflected the students’ deep engagement with the texts, as well as their ability to interpret and adapt classic works for the stage. The participants impressed the audience with their expressive acting, creative staging, and thoughtful direction, making the event both educational and entertaining.
The event concluded with a few words of appreciation and encouragement from Mr. Anil K.R, Guest Lecturer, who commended the students for their confidence and dedication, and Maria Joseph, Staff Coordinator, who congratulated the performers for their hard work and teamwork.
