AIDS Day Poster Awareness Programme Organized at Sree Narayana College, Alathur

Alathur, December 1, 2025:
The Department of Microbiology, in association with the Red Ribbon Club and IQAC of Sree Narayana College, Alathur, observed World AIDS Day by organizing a Poster Awareness Programme on the college campus. The event aimed to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention, stigma reduction, and the importance of health education among students.

The programme, held from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. Creative posters highlighting this year’s theme—“Stay Healthy Together and Stop AIDS”—were displayed, emphasizing safe practices, early testing, and compassionate support toward individuals living with HIV.

Faculty members appreciated the efforts of the students for their thoughtful concepts and socially responsible messages. The event served as an effective platform to promote awareness and encourage a health-conscious mindset within the campus community.
