Association Day of Economics Department

Alathur: The Department of Economics, Sree Narayana College Alathur, successfully conducted its Association Day on 9 February 2026 at 10:30 am in the College Auditorium.

Lt. Dr. Liji K T, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Economics, Mercy College, Palakkad, served as the resource person for the programme. She delivered an insightful talk on “How relevant is Economics in today’s knowledge economy?”, highlighting the importance of economics in shaping modern society and career opportunities in the knowledge era.

The session witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. The programme provided an enriching academic experience and encouraged meaningful discussions among participants.
