The excise department invited our college’s NSS volunteers to join the memorable moments at Budd School. The NSS team was deeply impressed by the dedicated efforts to create an inclusive and supportive environment. The facility prioritizes accessibility, providing ramps and elevators for easy mobility. The staff exhibited genuine care, offering tailored assistance to individuals with needs.

Our volunteers provided a variety of snacks, craft items, and study materials. They spent some time with the children by making crafts, playing, and communicating with them. They also sang songs and were happily involved with us. In this busy world, our volunteers and NSS PO’s gave primary importance to the children’s happiness. The employees and children of BUDS Centre for Disabilities have informed us that frequent interaction with NSS volunteers has given them strength and a sense of relief.

The visit to Buds School, Alathur, was a rewarding experience for our NSS volunteers, who gained a deeper understanding of the importance of inclusion and community support. The joy and positive energy shared with the children and staff left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
