NSS Day Celebrated at Sree Narayana College, Alathur

Alathur, September 24, 2025:
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units 37 & 117 of Sree Narayana College, Alathur, celebrated NSS Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from volunteers and faculty.

The programme began with the NSS Song, followed by the NSS Pledge, reaffirming the volunteers’ commitment to selfless service and social responsibility. The NSS Day message was delivered by programme officers, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in nation-building, social welfare, and community development.

A special highlight of the day was the distribution of packed food to the needy, symbolizing the NSS motto “Not Me, But You.” The initiative received wide appreciation for its humanitarian approach and for instilling the spirit of service among students.

The celebration successfully reflected the true essence of NSS by fostering values of empathy, unity, and social service among young volunteers.
