The National Service Scheme (NSS) units 37 and 117 of Sree Narayana College, Alathur actively participated in the Voter Support Mission 2025, extending their valuable assistance to Booth Level Officers (BLO) and district authorities as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025 activities.
As part of the mission, NSS volunteers engaged in the collection, verification, and digitalization of documents related to the SIR process. Their dedicated fieldwork helped ensure accuracy and efficiency in updating electoral rolls, thereby strengthening the democratic participation process at the grassroots level.
The volunteers worked closely with BLOs, visiting households, verifying voter details, and assisting in the submission and digital entry of crucial voter-related documents. Their active involvement not only enhanced the smooth functioning of the revision process but also promoted awareness about the significance of accurate voter registration.
The initiative reflects the NSS motto “Not Me But You”, emphasizing community service and civic responsibility. The college authorities appreciated the sincere efforts of the volunteers in contributing to this vital democratic exercise.
