The PG Department of English at Sree Narayana College, Alathur arranged an orientation event for the first-year BA Functional English students, held at Gurukripa Hall on July 12 at 1:30 PM. The event aimed to familiarize the new cohort with the latest CUFYUGP syllabus, empowering them to make well-informed decisions regarding their undergraduate academic journey. The session commenced with an inspiring address by the Principal, Dr. N.S. Rajendran, who encouraged the students with his insightful remarks. Subsequently, Ms. Remya Rajan, the Head of the Department, delivered a brief but impactful speech. The highlight of the event was a detailed presentation by Ms. Poornima, Assistant Professor in the Department of English, who meticulously explained the CUFYUGP syllabus and its structure. The orientation was graced by the presence of all faculty members from the Department, along with the new students.
