The PG Department of English, Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in association with IQAC, the Debate & Quiz Club, and the Literary Club, successfully organized a debate titled “Guardians or Gatekeepers? The Social Media Ban Debate.”
The programme was held on 23 January 2026 at Gurukripa Hall.
The event began at 11:30 AM and witnessed active participation from college students.
The debate focused on critical issues related to social media regulation, freedom of expression, and digital responsibility.
With the theme “Think Smart, Speak Loud!”, students presented well-researched and thought-provoking arguments.
The programme provided a vibrant platform for intellectual exchange and critical engagement.
Participants demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills throughout the session.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Praveena Vijayan.
