“Right Meal to Heal” – A Health Awareness Session by Department of Zoology

Alathur: The Department of Zoology, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sree Narayana College, Alathur, is organizing a health awareness program titled “Right Meal to Heal” on October 14, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Zoology Lab.

The session will be led by Ms. Chinju, Dietitian at Avitis Institute of Medical Sciences, Nemmara, who will address the importance of balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, and the role of diet in disease prevention and recovery.

This interactive session aims to promote awareness among students and faculty about the significance of maintaining proper dietary practices for a healthy lifestyle.

The program is coordinated by Ms. Nisha K, under the guidance of Dr. Araty Sasikumar, Head of the Department of Zoology, and Dr. S. Dhiva, IQAC Co-ordinator. Mrs. Praveena Vijayan, Principal of the College, will preside over the function.
