Alathur, October 27, 2025:
Sree Narayana College, Alathur, affiliated to the University of Calicut, is set to host “Pratheeksha Kiranam 2025”, a Suicide Prevention Campaign on the Wheels, on October 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the college campus.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about mental health, promote emotional resilience, and encourage help-seeking behavior among students and the public. Organized with the support of ESAF Bank and mental health advocates, the initiative underscores the message “Care, Courage, and Compassion”—core values essential for building a supportive community.
Through interactive sessions, motivational talks, and awareness activities, the program seeks to shed light on the importance of early intervention and the need to break the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.
The event is part of the college’s broader commitment to social responsibility and holistic student welfare, reflecting the values of compassion and service inspired by Sree Narayana Guru’s teachings.
