Alathur, November 1, 2025:
In connection with the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the NSS Units 37 and 117 of Sree Narayana College, Alathur, affiliated to the University of Calicut, will observe Social Responsibility Day on November 1, 2025.
As part of the observance, the NSS volunteers will organize a Tree Plantation Programme on the college campus in memory of Sardar Vallabhai Patel @150. The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and social commitment among students, reflecting Patel’s ideals of unity, responsibility, and nation-building.
The event will also emphasize the importance of sustainable living and collective action in protecting nature for future generations. Through this activity, the NSS volunteers reaffirm their pledge to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more responsible society.
