World Environment Day Celebration

The Postgraduate Department of English at Sree Narayana College, Alathur, in collaboration with the Literary Club, Debate Club, and Film Club, organized a vibrant celebration of World Environment Day on June 13, 2025 (Friday). The event aimed to raise environmental awareness and encourage creative engagement with ecological concerns among students.

The programme featured a Photography Competition, Poster Making Competition, and a Film Screening, all centered around themes of nature and environmental sustainability. These events provided students with a platform to express their perspectives on environmental issues through visual storytelling and artistic representation.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Principal Dr. Praveena Vijayan and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Dhiva S. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Maria Joseph (Staff Coordinator) and Mr. Bharath Ram Asok Inikkal (Student Coordinator). The initiative was well-received by participants and attendees, reinforcing the department’s commitment to both academic and social responsibility.
