Department of Mathematics

The department started on 22nd June 1970. With the inception of the degree course in 1977 the college was upgraded and the department of mathematics was established as an independent department in 1977. The B.Sc Mathematics degree course under UG program offers Physics, Statistics as subsidiary subjects. The first batch had 24 students, sent up for university examination in 1981. In the year 1984 M.Sc Mathematics was introduced in the college and the department was upgraded to Post Graduate Department of Mathermatics. Since 2024 FYUGP was also introduced by the department
